Where to sleep: Wedding
To be frank, you have to be very eccentric to want to spend the night in Wedding during your stay in Berlin.
As far as transport goes, from Wedding it is easiest to get to Prenzlauer Berg, as long as you're staying near the ring, but otherwise...
Like with other neighbourhoods, we will mention some hostels, but let's remember that there is always the option of renting a holiday appartment. Ads for these you can find in the more important magazines of the city such as Tip and Zitty.
The hotel BDP Gäste Etage, on Osloerstrasse 12, offers rooms from 14euros a day. The north of Prenzlauer Berg is not too far away on the tram line (look at Wisbyerstrasse). On the other side you can find the Jugendgästehaus Nordufer, exactly on Nordufer 28. The neighbourhood Moabit is not far from here and the prices are around 20 euros.
But north of Leopoldplatz, between Schulstrasse, Müllerstrasse, Seestrasse and Reinickendorfstrasse, lies a good neighbourhood. It is there that you can find the more interesting bars and cafés, even if not numerous.
