Platypus Theater Berlin
The school year has started!! Birthday parties, extra-curricular activities, sleep-overs, zoos, kino, parks... but, how about a play? The theater, a kids theater- in English!
Platypus Theater is a Berlin based theatre group which produces English and bilingual plays for children and teenagers. Founded in 1985, it was in 1992 that due to the huge success of their first English language play for children, it was decided to carry on with the English language and bilingual theatre. The theater has toured around Germany and in 2006 did a tour of schools in Australia.
At the moment they are showing a bilingual play, Angstmän, written by Hartmut el Kurdi and on the 9th of October they will premiere See You Later Navigator, a play written by Peter Scollin, founder of the theatre.
Open Mon to Thu from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
